Toys & Entertainment Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: PLCO - news; ''Play Co. Toys'') today announced that its same store sales in the month of February 1998 were up by 44.6 percent, over the sales of February 1997. Comparison of same store sales is a common business indicator used by retailers. Richard Brady, President of the Company, stated, ''We are very pleased with the Company's operating performance in February. All of our continuing stores posted a sales gain over February 1997 levels. We believe that our specialty toy mix in particular helped contribute to this strong sales increase.'' Play Co.
