I think LCI (which I am long) is a tremendous buy -- a virtual guaranty of $42 of Qwest and as Qwest goes above $39.50 -- LCI shares in the upside potential about dollar for dollar. LCI only at $40. Further, I am not sure that a potential suitor will not come out and bid for LCI, which could make Qwst raise its initial bid. As you may know, a class action suit has been filed by a LCI shareholder saying that an auction should have been held for LCI and that the value should be at $50.
