I thought the pistol was heavy enough without the added weight of the scope. How bout you? I like the idea of seeing the target through the scope though. My eyes are getting old and don't see as well.
Come to think of it my hands arn't as steady either,
"steady now ole timer don't shoot your foot off"

I prefere semi's for that very reason <G>
