Anyone have thoughts on how NASDAQ/AMEX merger would affect IDX and other AMEX companies? Are they going to keep the 1-3 letter symbols or change to 4-letters? Happily Long IDX, Duke ps. Buck, your Wave Technologies ("WAVT") friend is probably me. It is one of my holdings. It is a computer-training company in St. Louis (if interested, we have a separate thread). What is interesting about the WAVX/WAVT/WAVE (there is a separate WAVE symbol), is that it's the same mess we have with IDX/IDXX/IDXC. Hey, I can't tell NEC from NCR these days.
