To All,
Here is evidence that it is okay for a CEO to respond to a message board.

About Gershein and Carroll

On behalf of STAR Telecom CEO, Chris Edgecomb -

"Although Gershein and Carroll have never worked in the same company, as President of MFS
Gershein had alot of interaction
with IDB/Worldcom of which Steve Carroll was President. Both of these guys have had alot of
business interaction with the CEO of
STAR Telecom over the last ten years. As Presidents of their repective companies, both guys cashed
out with alot of money when
their companies were sold to Worldcom. The fact that they would be willing to serve on STAR's
Board should say alot. Technically
they did both work for Worldcom at the same time, but at the time MFS was purchased by Worldcom
Steve had been promoted to
oversee all European operations and thus they most likely didn't spend too much time hanging out
together eating Catfish in Jackson,
Mississippi. Any other questions?"

Manager, Information Systems

Rensho, yep, this stock has been pretty dead flat (after drifting down) and also pretty (no, *uncharacteristically*) quiet as well.

Of course, based on the tidbits that have been floating around (and there is still a detectable heartbeat from Softworks at a minimum!), it could also be that the pupa is in the chrysalis, getting ready to emerge and spread its wings.

I've seen it in the past. With penny stocks, some do fade and disappear. But some others do turn around, and it's the extended quiet period before such a turnaround in which small investors get frustrated or impatient and sell, while the smart money ("strong hands") accumulate the stock, and then make profits by selling on a price run-up.

As I said earlier, by holding I am betting on the turnaround. All I can say for sure is that *something's* gonna change here within the next few months, if not sooner...
