Jay: I think BAAT was set up so no one could buy it. Many closely held shares, by the "environmentalist groups", from what I hear. Joe
also stated on his WEB site, from what I remember, that some have made offers, but they wanted to "control" the technology. Joe and
his backers, want this technology for the WORLD. The BIG 3 may be a little stubborn on this, as usual. They (BIG 3) talk about their
new way of thinking, but I still think they are steeped in "company pride", and will refuse to look at ideas outside their realm. Unless
it bites them in the ass. Again, they got bit on this hybrid technology.
They have already admitted they are behind and trying to catch up.
It took the Japanese threat again, in bringing the hybrid technology
to the U.S. soon, that got them off their butts. Someone on the YAHOO site tried to convice folks that the eingineers in the BIG 3,
have a kind of "altruistic" outlook, and are looking after the human race. HA. Its bottom dollar balance sheet they are interested in.
Its only the competition coming and the "Green House" world agreements that have gotten them to spend money in this direction.
Otherwise it would have been gas guzzlers forever. I and I know many others feel that Joe will sign the first agreements with foreign
concerns. The U.S. companies will be playing catch up again.
