Where are red blood cells manufactured? Bone marrow I believe. Check out PYNG site for an excellent presentation that all should be able to understand. The site: pyng.com

Quoting from the site: "Intraosseous infusion (IOI) is a proven medical technique for getting drugs and fluids into the bloodstream. Resuscitative drugs and volume replacement fluids quickly flow from the bone marrow through small blood vessels to enter the central venous system. The frequent difficulty of accessing veins in children and infants has made IOI a necessary alternative to IV access in emergency pediatric care. The F.A.S.T.1TM makes the procedure available to adult patients."

Please go to the site to read more.

Geo, It seems some people on this thread have taken the so called Doc Bob as being a real Doctor. His entrance here takes on the appearance of a shorter. First time posting on SI and challenges the validity of the product. We have just had a bout of this sort of thing on the KRY thread. Isn't that so Chief? I don't mean to sound like the Chief is one of them but he has been on the KRY thread for some time and can bear witness. Well, we'll just have to wait and see.

Cheers,
