Just a note, I thought the "think different" ad was inane. The snail was funny, hard to get and not believable.

I've also heard the suggestion that the "think different" campaign was to reintroduce the Apple brand, to get everybody more prepared for the AMP. Supposed to be tons of "think different" billboards around Hollywood.

I think I saw a print version of the snail ad.

If I never saw the 30 second spots, my first reaction would be. "Soup up your snail of a computer with a new Pentium II!"

I would imagine a snail zipping around leaving trails of silver slime.
