Your post makes a lot of sense from what I have seen with former kiewit employees. Kiewit people are cheap and greedy by nature, but KIWT for most of them is found money after MFS/WCOM.

I'm sure it churns their guts to sell when the projections are up, but their accountant constantly telling them to diversify their two stock portfolio (WCOM and KIWT) takes its toll after a couple years.

People outside Omaha may not realize how few Kiewit employees and former employees there are. For them, selling off 10% means big volatilaty for the rest of us. I'm betting they're holding onto the other 90%, because that's what worked for them before and they are greedy.

And having Warren Buffet in the plaza gives them all a goal to shoot for. Think long term. Think MFS.
