Gofer!
Nice to here from somebody else out there. I must admit that I thought that all the Lundin threads were dead, or written by Sweds.
My point about the dilution was that this is really something, the Tenke thing. And I think that the political risk is of a special kind: It is very low! The reason is all the debacle the regime made in the AMF-affaire. They know that the learning money from that is a mining operation in Tenke that goes smoothly, otherwise they will get less for the rest of the concessions they wants to put on the market. And, of course, as everybody can see, there is soon money for everyone.
About the kleptocraz(c)y. This is a question that touches me. For the best of Africa I hope and think that there will be a regional development in the Lubumbashi area that can spread in the Katanga region and so forth. The agreements on rail, power, air, post will change the life in this area. There will also be a room for the individual working man in this area who can benefit on all these progress. There will be progress for the human rights movement.
So, I am very optimistic as you can see.
Let's hope for as small dilution as possible.

Regards Marten

Gofer!
According to the agreement with Gecamine the first 10 years of production is tax-free! The deal is from the Mobouto time and I can understand that the Kabila regim wants to to better deals with other CO. But this is a confirmed deal - after some sweat.
All money back after first year of production?
