Matt,

Good luck!

I envy you. Keep your eyes open and don't fall for everything
you see. Someone out there wants your money. How much or how
little it may be.

Hello! And Welcome to Matt and Sam,

It's great to have both of you on the CVIA Thread.

The word PATIENCE was reinforced by Sam--Yes! Wise words indeed!

Matt! You are demonstrating excellent initiative by taking advantage of the opportunity in joining the S.I. thread, and the "STOCK ZONE".

Just the fact you are here already indicates to me that you are someone that is able to see where opportunities lay, and have probably already have had a taste of some exceptional return on your investments with a minimal amount of effort.

The only thought that I would like to share with you is there may very well be times when it may appear that money appears to be growing on trees! Please tuck this away in the back of your mind! As quickly as money from investment can come your way, just as quickly it can taketh away!

One guiding principle I try to follow ( after being kicked in the teeth , time and time again)--is never, ever lose a sense of respect for money.

Money represents very hard work, and committment by all people in this world! ( Even the people that may on the surface appear that they have made their wealth with a minimum of work and effort!---Don't buy it for a second! There is always a price to pay! You work for it one way or another!

It appears that you may have been blessed with an apptitude to have some significant financial gain, learning , and fun in the "Stock Zone"

From my part, I am pleased to see some youth join the CVIA Team, and in turn will provide a new dynamics and vision, that some of us may have put on the back burners! ( I was speaking for myself on that
statement!)

Many times Great Vision comes from those that haven't yet learned that every thing and anything is not possible! Keep that fresh outlook and vision with you , Always!--It's a gift! Grow and learn with it!

Interesting to see that CVIA is on your target as a potential growth company! Not only 16 but also very astute! ( In my opinion!)

Best Regards,

Wayne J.

P.S. Matt! You mentioned that you did your own research on CVIA!
Can you share some of your findings with this thread? I think there are many of us that would be interested to hear your thoughts! Thanks!

I'm sure all of us have some advice to give to a young person just starting out. While the advice so far has been a pat on the back and good choice, let me just inject a sense of the obvious. This stock and BAAT are not investments, they are gambles. Most people buying these stocks are looking for a killing. Most times when you're looking for a killing, you get killed. I have a gambler's mentality and I enjoy the risk, but I am realistic in acknowledging that I may lose everything when I invest like this. My prediction for you is that even if you hit this one (which I selfishly hope you do), that you will get burned on many other pennies. As long as you are aware of what you're getting yourself into, great. Truthfully a more obvious way to make money is to buy established companies with track records.

Matt,

I guess I'll throw in my two cents as well.
I don't know if you ambition is to be a trader or an investor. Since you are here in the pennies, it appears that you want to do a little trading. So, here's an idea for you to consider. Try to arrange your sales so that after you take your profit you have 500-1000 shares left over, more if your bankroll allows. Then just put those shares away somewhere - another portfolio or get them put into certificate form and then don't touch them NO MATTER WHAT. There's no telling what one of these little companies might be worth in 50 years. Most, probably won't be worth much, but all it would take is for one or two of them to hit and - - - WOW! Think about where technology has advanced in the last fifty years. I'm getting close to fifty now and I remember that we had one of the first TV sets on the block and I remember reading about Sputnik in my "Weekly Reader" - - - WOW! Think about the DOW at 1,000,000 - - - WOW!

Best of luck,
George
