Take a look at Rupert Resources - RUP.V. Based in Vancouver, CEO Don Moore, whom I've known as neighbor and professionally, never before touted me on any of his situations until now. Don thinks the Crown Diamond Mine (Africa) will be a winner. I do not own any RUP - I'm playing silver and cash.

I like the zinc fundamentals. Despite Asian econ slowdown zinc inventory continues to decline. During 1998 inventory should drop to, or below, 5 weeks of consumption and thats below the consumers' desired stock level. Hence, zinc prices should firm up again.

However, I either a Director or am paid by the zinc companies I like so can't give you an unbiased opinion.

I'll be making the Analyst rounds again soon - I'll let you know if any sound ideas crop up.

Regards,
