Claude, to find the other CBD thread use the search function at the bottom of the Gold, Mining and Natural Resources category listings. Type in "cumberland" and you will see two threads listed, this one and the one Patrick was referring to. However, there have been no posts on the other thread since late January, so don't expect to find a lot of company over there....

Except for the fact that gold is out of favour at the moment, I don't know why more people aren't following this stock. Very good results and decent reserve estimates to date (at a 5 gm/T cut-off) and more infill drilling to be completed at Meadowbank this year. With any luck, more good results this drilling season combined with new mineral resource calculations, favourable economic analysis and pre-feasibility studies will start to generate some attention in the marketplace.

This stock has very good prospects - you will know that management has a good thing going when a major starts to show some interest. (Maybe WMC Int'l - CBD's partner on the Meliadine West project - will be prepared to buy in at a later date if the results are eventually good enough. After all, there are bound to be some efficiencies related to operating two mines in relatively close proximity to each other!)

However, for the time being it seems that it will take an awful lot to move the markets this year.....starting with a higher price of gold. Good luck with this one.
