....the fact that the ore body is polymetalic with copper being the predominant metal tells me right away that this is not a fair comparison.

I suspect that is true.

I also believe yesterday's release is only the beginning of analyzing this deposit. It is legitimate, given these numbers, to ask what the cost of production will be. Obviously the nature and infrastructure costs will be very low so the question will be the process for extraction itself. So far we only have speculation as to the cost of the process being in the $100 per ton range. Tom Frederick makes a valid point, at even these numbers the indicated reserves are huge. It may require more work but with a prize of this magnitude you'll be able to focus a lot of talent on unlocking this puzzle.

This is not going to be an easy ride. There is still a lot of work to be done to bring Franklin Lakes into production. It is legitimate to question the prospects given the lower numbers released yesterday. It is possible the company can't get it done. I believe they will. But I would like to remind any of my fellow investors who are still reading of something I have posted in the past. This is a very risky stock. Your holdings should be no larger than dictated by proper risk management and diversification. If you have kept this stock with the appropriate allocation for a risk equity there is nothing in the developments of the last few days that should cause panic. If you you over allocate to any equity, even Microsoft, it colors your ability to analyze dispassionately.
