FYI:

As most probably know by now, "Second Opinion", a service of Market Edge, has incrementally upgraded it's opinion of the technical attributes of MFN common for the past 4 sessions. Today's rating is a "Long" with the opinion being "Stock is a buy". It's "Power Rating" is an (81) out of (100). The rating has gone upward for the past 4 sessions, regardless of the lack of upward momentum; probably a reward for establishing solid a bottom.

I've lurked this thread since Labor Day and am indulging the 30 day trial; It's a pleasure to voice on this board. Bulgar and I have chatted often on Yahoo, but let's face it: Yahoo's thread is not in SI's intellectual league. I'm sure I'll become a "lifer" with SI in the next 30 days. Well, here's to positive financials for 4th qtr 1997. I'm in for another purchase at the open.

Actually, I am still confused. Does the 5.6% short interest mean that 5.6% of the FLOAT SHARE (117 mil) or TOTAL SHARE (172 mil) is being shorted?
