Absolutely! While INCY is a pretty damned chaotic place, and certainly not the most efficiently managed business on the planet, they have an awesome business model with lots of room for growth. They also have highly refined the art of DNA sequencing with continuous incremental improvements to the processes to make them better and cheaper. If INCY was so inclined, they could put out a DNA sequencing system that would put current commercial systems out to pasture, but they don't want to be an instrument company. My guess is that they'd rather keep the improvements to themselves and focus on the core business rather than pass on the improvements to the competition. Know of anyone else running 96 lanes of a PE:ABI 377? Remember that this is a Gold Rush, and whoever mines the DNA ore the fastest is going to be the richest. Why sell power shovels to companies currently digging by hand when you can just out dig them. While the tool companies are lucrative in their own right, the big money will be in what you can get using the tools. By the way, INCY has now officially broken ground on their new 95,000 square foot building.......the expansion continues. Keep up the great growth INCY!!! Rman
