That's what the man said. I wrote it down immediately just so I wouldn't screw it up. ;-))) And yes the figures are in Ringgit.

As there are 18MM population, that works out to something in the neighborhood of 306MM (M$) or approx 81.6b USD. That doesn't sound too far fetched to me that the GNP for Malaysia might be in the 48 -50b $ range.

Don't mean to sound possesive about the numbers, <g> but a couple million expats do make a difference. ;-).

Whatever the real number is, give-or-take (x%), it is still mind numbing to me...
