Vapid, personal posts on a stock thread are a bearish indication to me, personally ... and your series is a classic example.

My personal experience is that when stocks are undervalued, and have long-term potential, the frequency of posts regarding them on SI is low, and the content rich and considered. When stocks are overvalued and their trading frothy, there are frequent posts by hyperactive traders constantly providing 'updates' on the interday prices (as if none of us had price services of our own) and unsubstantiated expressions of personal opinion as to where the stock's price will be in a day, a week or a month.

Your investment style may vary, but mine is most successful for me when I avoid stocks in the second category.

I, too, have a profile which you are free to examine.
