Re: Columbus

Macintouch has a bit a retrenchment yesterday on this subject quoting
people who know people, who know people, "Inside Apple" saying
that Columbus is just another Mac, albeit an interesting one.

see: macintouch.com

Somehow I think that this code name "Columbus" was leaked by the Apple
executive spin department to draw attention away from another real
project based on this AMP (Apple Media Player ) idea which may not ready
for prime time .I think that cNet stole AppleRecon's thunder much to the
chagrin of AR and I think that CNBC's report on the subject was clueless in that
it seemed to be pieced together solely from the aforementioned rumors
I suspect that we will here facts about Columbus sooner than later and facts
about AMP,not for awhile.

BTW enchanced CD may just be even more spin.

Just my opinion
Ever confused ,pjkelly

Although "Columbus" DOES portend nicely , new world and all that .....

Regardless it all seems to be stirring in nicely with Apple's stock price.
