One has to wonder what is wrong with Ariel's ADSL product. From a previous post we saw an excerpt from a SEC filing that referenced getting a "minimum of $5M" for the product and development team yet Cisco has paid $120M for Dagaz (1997) and $236M for Netspeed (1998). Granted, Netspeed is much larger and has a contract with U S West but Dagaz was roughly the same size as Ariel and had yet to produce a product.

Ariel management has claimed to have several interested parties in the past, what did they discover about the ADSL product to make them pass on it at such a bargain basement price?

I wonder if the ADSL team has left, it must be de-motivating to work for a company that has been trying to sell you for 18 months now.
