I think they really hurt their credibility with analysts when they refuse to break out sales by category. If FRIGC is not selling, then be honest about it. These analysts aren't stupid. They will figure it out sooner or later. The financial info they release is not very useful and it makes it impossible for analysts and investors to judge management's effectiveness. Their excuse is that it is proprietary information. However, I own stock in a telecommunications company called Glenayre and they break out sales by every product type and they also operate in an extremely competitive business. If analysts and investors can't get straightforward information, they will simply walk away. There is really no way to gauge whether or not these guys are effective or efficient.
