I do not know for sure but short traders love to pop in just ahead of news and announcements to drive the price down to make other investors nervous. This would not surprise me at all. I have heard that about 1/3 of the float is short and that is a serious number of shares which are owed by people who may try anything to drive the price down. BTIM has been targeted bt professional short sellers and the company needs to recognize this and be very clear and unambiguous about their data and their public relations in general. Jim
