Look, there is a big difference between a reverse split and a reverse merger. As has been beaten to death on this thread, the main reason for a reverse split is to lower the outstanding shares, which will raise the EPS and the stock price.

A reverse merger is when companies MERGE. The shares that are traded/exchanged are based on their pre-merger price. For example, if FAMH had a stock price $10/share, and was merging with a company that had a stock price of $5/share, than FAMH would most like do a 1 for 2 exchange when the companies merge. (NOTE: The potential, etc. of the companies would also be taken into account.) However, since FAMH most likely has a lower stock price than the NASDAQ listed company it is merging with, there will be a 4 for 1 exchange.

So, my point is that the fact that FAMH will trade 4 shares for 1 share is based on the stock prices of the two companies that are merging. This is *not* a reverse split.

This horse is dead, I hope....let it rest.
