article in fortune 3/16 about adsl lite (splitterless). title how the telco's will fight back. i believe many will embrace lite tell full adsl comes on line (i know i will and at a lesser cost).

Eliot, I don't know what BEL exact schedule is or even where it will deploy first. My previous post was to say they are trying as hard as they can to get everything in place to launch ASAP. They don't want a screw up in anything to mar the launch. Very conservative.

Some may believe they are/will delay launch for some competitive or other reason but my cut is they are moving as fast as their capability allows to get it on market.

are you not paying attention? BEL has said repeatedly that the launch is for q2 1998. i think they are planning to start offering service in may or june.
