Is it likely that LGND will release any new information at the Raymond James presentation or is it just to review all recent results with the thought that they will initiate coverage of the stock again?

Henry, << JAKs, STATs, and Src Kinases: Obligate Partners in Cytokine Signalling << This, the topic of one of the AACR meetings, appears to be very significant for LGND. Yet, this is the first time I've seen anything in print about "obligate partners" for LGND's JAK/STAT's technology. We know that rexinoids are "obligate partners" in heterodimers, but apparently only in intracellular signalling, as opposed to cytokine signalling. Can you update us on where LGND sits regarding Src Kinases, and, whether the inclusion of Src Kinases, with JAKs & STATs, as "obligate partners" augments or diminishes the hegemony of our JAK/STAT technology? Naturally, when you complete this assignment, you'll receive the usual honorarium we & the lurkers & peepers promptly provide for your tireless efforts in our behalf.Bernie

OFF TOPIC

Henry, Lake Ligand is nice and calm today so I thought I would ask an OT question, if you wouldn't mind. I assume all the various articles which you post here are also stored by you in some sort of data base so that you can search and recall them in the future. I know many are available to all via your Links to Ligand which can be searched manually. My question is what data base system your using and how you like it. I'm beginning to collect too much paper on LGND and the other stocks I follow, so I'm considering what to do.

BTW, I'm leaving early tomorrow for a week of skiing (a wonderful family sport if you have not tried it) with the family and, not having a portable pc yet, I'll be out of touch with the thread. I want to take this opportunity to wish Nicole, Emily and their teams the best of luck in the Jefferson Cup. I'll be back on-line in time to get the results.

Regards,

Walter
