To all - Yes, but with the love of big animals comes the inclination to "bite off more than he can chew" Agree wholeheartedly with the Y2K consolidation hypothesis, but do you think software management has it's own space among the "survival of the fittest"? If the niche market develops, CA would own most,with Platinum back to square one. By that time, Platinum will have had to either 1) grow large enough to contend (4x it's size now), 2)adopt hardware or 3) be incorporated by an IBM, or better fit, Compaq What are your thoughts?
