hello Jens - not sure. On the surface, HDS balance sheet is obviously not as pristine, but it is a given. S&P timing is a bit suspicious, if one is to subscribe to the conspiracy theory <VBG>.

Being someone not with impartiality, I tend to agree with the CEO. Since S&P review predates HDS latest quarterly, one would think S&P drop the ball by not going back to incorporate the latest bit of information into its rating process.

If one is to believe the CEO, since HDS is holding off the sale ad blitz until March, there is a good chance HDS sales may have a up tick. The only monkey wrench is the recent winter storm hitting the Ohio Valley regions, where HDS has most of the stores.
