It is time to set your alarms to AIPN, not time to buy. AIPN will report one way or another their results of the evaluation of their Kazakstan concession soon. If they have no results or poor results they are likely to stall,in that case the stock will tank The stock has declined recently because many traders have lost patience with the stock. If a buying or selling frenzy starts we will know the results are at hand. I would not add to a position untill it blows by 4 in a big way since it has had serious resistance at 4 for some time. Some analysts have predicted the stock will go to 10. I would sell whenever momentum quits, assuming they report good results. The problem is no one knows how to get the oil out of Kazakstan within the next few years. If you want a high octane trade, you can always buy the warrants which were recently extended. If the report is a bust, the warrants will go to 0. The stock will always have a value because of the refinery. Without Kazakstan, however, the stock won't be worth much.
