Rosemary, William, Kemble, Venkie, Greg, Mohan, Hank and all,

I decided to use the 1 month free SI membership to take the opportunity to say hi to all of you from down under. Having only become a Dell head less than 12 months ago, and still being relatively new to the entire game, I have little to offer from an analytical sense so much of the time I'll keep pretty quiet. However I do want to let you know that many of your posts have been invaluable in both helping me not to totally throw my money away and in giving me something to read when I should otherwise be sleeping. It's actually been fun sort of 'getting to know' each of you during the past year.

However if I can add one small piece of advice to any and all on the thread, then it is simply buy and hold Dell. I got pretty badly burnt during the October downturn and then lost considerable ground playing the buy and sell game on the way back up. I'm back in the black now, my break even point is at $60, but I would have been much better off had I simply done nothing. ie. As someone else said some time back, "Buy Dell, go to sleep".

Hopefully I'll take my own advise during the next month or so and just hold on tight to the Dell train, "All aboard that are comin' aboard..."
