Dennis sooo right on how Fry's will add to AAPL's bottom line

Years back we used to weekly trek to their 1st store (which also sold food items in San Jose,Ca.) to buy 6MzZ crystals to upgrade IBM's 4Mz 80286 ATs to run SCO's XENIX .

Even then Fry's had a AAPL counter and the only computers running any application in the store was AAPL .

Today they are advertising G3/233s for $1,697 and INCLUDE a Epson 600 printer free !

Their 1st store was a "engineer's" paradise and attracted computer pioneers who were "rolling their own" .

It's great news !

Regards,
Jim K.

On CNBC at 12:25 N.Y. time they had two analysts on , one on big cap stocks, one on small cap stocks. On the big cap side the Dow Jones Senior Writer Bob O'Brian said , "Apple is getting It's act together and has a lot of upside potential from here" Bill

<<Fry's opening AAPL store within a store>>

DataVision in Manhattan also set up an Apple Store within the store.

Their format seems a little bit different from the CompUSA store a block away. I was not impressed. Some of the machines were not functional and the store personnel did not seem knowledgabel or willing to help.

The CompUSA store had a nice window display. I noticed that if I stopped to look, people would also stop and look with me. Maybe they should hire someone to stand outside and pretend to be gawking at the Macs in the window. :)

Think Different billoards were everywhere and they are getting bigger!
