Hi Bill:

SPX points

---->what your SPX points mean

the points which I post several times during the day are figures of support and resistance.

on this thread and several others there has been enlightening discussions about their applications

I use them to make my trades

the main reason that I now just post them as "points" is that they change from support or resistance, whichever the case may be when violated for more than 15 minutes.

for example right now the SPX is trading at 1071.45and the points associated to those positions are 1070 floor/sup and 1072 ceiling/res

----just a few minutes ago the point 1074 was ceiling and 1072 was floor but 1072 was penetrated by SPX going down, and has now remained there for the required 15 minutes.

Welcome and feel free to post.

Regards---Nemer
