David, you may have point here as I have suspected the same. I truly believe they are 'low-balling' the Q1 estimate and came up with this 'break-even' deal so that they can have some earnings and beat the estimates to get the stock moving again. I hear this guy Eckhard and Mason are pretty 'suave'(aka manipulative) when it comes to this sort of things, perhaps too smart for their own good.<gg>

hoping that management was overly negative in their warning to
the street in order to get all the bad news out of the way...making it that much easier to
beat the new estimates. Heck, Intel has been doing just that for quite a while now
--
Well, I don't know that Intel has done that, seems to be no end to the bad news from them lately. They've warned 2 out of the last 4 qtrs, stock is where it was 9 months ago and PE is at 20 now with earning forecast to be 3.22 this year, meaning with a PE of 20 its overvalued right now. Should be, may eventually be 64. I own some and I think its
gonna be a while with it too.
