Hi Rich - Good work. Also Raney's track record after his retirement from HWP has not been...well stellar. At California Microwave the CEO was fired only six month's after Raney arrived. Raney then resigned two months latter.

If this was really a significant management change "blessed" by CEO Schmidt, I would expect a CFO with a bit more industry experience.

I think this appointment may have been reactive rather than a proactive forward looking one. IMO the CFO and CEO must work closely to implement the overall business plan. Usually, the CEO will hand pick this individual. It seems that CEO Schmidt may not have been involved in the CFO selection as closely as one might have expected. Perhaps that is why it was labeled "interrim".
