Dan, I have been tracking stock services for nearly 15 months now. The very best site "stocksmart" went to a charge about 4 months ago. I do hope Internet Trader delayed stays free. Yahoo has heavy advertising, that is how you "pay" there. There are "teirs" in all the services, where premium service demands some additional cost. You cannot expect Webmasters to work for nothing and T-1 lines to become free. Almost all End of Day data services have some charge. The reason IT is free is that the data cannot be localized on your computer and you have to use the interface to access the data. Yes, some "free quote data" will always be available at stockbrokers and big web sites as a marketing vehicle for the foreseeable future. Maybe advertising will postpone direct charges for several years. I hope so. Ed
