I really don't need a 333MhZ pc for home use. Most people at work don't need that level of performance at my work either(easily checked
by "Windows Task Manager"/CPU usage history). Only a few people in
my group who actually do the optimzing builds/run test vectors need it.
I really don't see any non-engineering application in the corporate
world which need the cpu horsepower. Even this much talked about
streaming video etc. is currently network limited and not cpu bound.
No wonder that CPQ, HWP are feeling the pressure at their "high end".
Maybe, we'll hear an announcement from Dell soon?
Also, are you sure that "Chuzzlewit" is your cat? Maybe its your canary(that would explain its birdbrainedness!) ;) (J/K).
