They promote their drives based on capacity with compressed data. I don't really approve of it, either. But now that the standard has been set, it would put Iomega at a competitive disadvantage if they stated uncompressed capacity only. - Allen

Rocky, Probably the same reason HP is promoting their 5GB when it is really a 2.5GB.... it's what they all are doing... quoting capacity for compressed data. Ben A.
