Steve Case had a massive expense seeding his version of the internet- the cd's disribution +manufact. costs. I think nscp has cost advantages since access to the site is free and will add features to the netcenter. They have an army of programmers available. Content on the internet is customer supplied in many instances. As far as I know Dan is not paid yet. Partner provided is another option for branded content. I don't think the cost and availability of content will be a problem for nscp.Entertainment is in the eye of the beholder---I mean some people consider stock chat entertaining, some people like the Drudge report.All these web sites' content is goofy stuff, really.Easily duplicated.IMO the best stuff on the web is free. The revenue comes from the eyeball /advertiser big chat room concept I guess. It will have to be free to the consumer though in the long run. Not good imo, for the AOL business model.
