Agreed, BAY is like Rodney("No respect at all from WS"). I think in time they will earn their respect, also WS is in love with CSCO so they don't want to rock the boat if you know what I mean.

Btw, I am long CSCO also:)

RFF: Have you thought about the possibility that BAY may surprise on the upside? If they were now expecting that would they pre-announce? Hardly!

RFF- You said "only 2 weeks left in the quarter and no bad news, so if they miss it won't be by much". However, it has also been reported that they are looking for as much as 50% of the quarter's sales in March. That means at least 25%(if not more) in the last two weeks. This is a "wait until you see the whites of their eyes" quarter.

My best guess, basis everything mgmt has said in conf. call and analysts' meetings, is that the quarter will be close either way, with a few cents swing up or down from $.28EPS. I am hoping for the upside, but the market has factored in the downside. The key will be the level of enthusiasm House expresses in the conference call. If he waffles on 4th quarter for any reason at all, I will finally bail out and come back in at a later(and lower) point. I have already bought my plane tickets to San Jose for the annual meeting in late October(for real!) and the only question will be my mood when I get there.
