I agree...no real put action to effect that outcome. So what will happen when Mory speaks this afternoon?

as far as i know you are the first to calculate and post differences between what the values would be worth depending on the close of asnd. thank you for putting the numbers into perspective, and the pressure that exists to keep asnd at 35.

Hopefully, ASND will close at 35 next Friday as my covered calls at 35 will expire unexercised. I think think ASND has room to move into the 40 range if it can break past 37, so I'd like to hold on to it without having to buy my calls back next week. But who knows with triple-witching next Friday which direction it will move. Actually, a more important factor is what Mory the liar will say before next Friday. Anyone know what he said yet??

question regarding options open interest***

Excellent post.

It seems if the Open interest is high, the day of expiry would also be the best day to buy calls for the following months (April or later) and the worst day to sell covered calls. Comments ?

Do you also have a feel for how large a volume of trading does it take to overcome the damping effect of open interest.

Thanks in advance
