Joe et al, Any buyout has to be with management consent--or, more exactly, with Axel Johnson's consent, the company Lars was spun off of. Before you get buyout fever, check the share distribution. Class "A", the kind you and I own, gets one vote per share. Class "B" gets four votes per share. The biggest holder of the Class "B" shares is Axel Johnson, which holds enough voting power through those shares to control Lars. The big volume on Friday was probably just an investment and, in my opinion, a good one.
Best,
-Steve
