Rockster (OT)***** Bud Strike

Granted that a strike may initially set Bud's stock price back a bit, I wouldn't hold that short to long. I think you've lived in NYC to long. Unions don't hold the power they used to have. I can't believe that you are from Texas and don't know this. Most Texans I know hold the Unions with the same reverence they do the communists.

Don't talk about Bubba and Unions in the same breath. That would be like bringing a knife to a pistol fight.

OFF TOPIC Budweiser Strike ??

Rocky posted some good links
teamster.org
and
messages.yahoo.com

The contract had two extenshions. One was for a week the last was for 30 days. After talking to Union officers and the membership there will be no more Extenshions. I attented a meeting with Augest Busch III who wants to have a mail in ballot and also wants the membership to waite 30 days befor mailing in there vote.
Everyone at the LA brewery that I have spoken with is aghenst this. They seem to think Bud is stalling. The union and membership want the vote at the union hall. The last vote at the hall was to allow the union to call a strike. That vote was a secret ballot and passed by ten to one for allowing the union to call strike.

I think come March 29 ill have more time to work on stocks.
Best to all Bob
