DCF, Nancy, Those are both good answers, but I am not sure that it works for me. I am not even sure that God wants us to hold him in awe. I am less sure that awe, or reverence leads to wisdom. A great question is what does lead to wisdom? Regrettably, I am less clear on that. Sometimes it easier to determine what does not work for one's self than what does. At first blush I would say that an open minded compassion and willingness to love openly and freely may lead to wisdom, but I am not totally comfortable with that phrasing either. Any thoughts on the idea? Mark
