Fundamental forcast for rev/earn at Sigma Designs:

All historical indicators are in complete agreement,

Revenues: doesn't matter.
Earnings: they don't do that.

Rec: This dog occasionally barks for a quick trade, then the parasites (mgmt.) drive it back into the dirt.

Good luck to all...

Daniel,

I don't claim to be an expert on this industry at all, but I do think that we should experience some kind of revenue/earnings growth in the next quarter or two. We may not get above breakeven in the revenues department, but I do think that we will see better than -.05/share.

IMO, the big revenues/earnings will start coming in when the DVD orders do. I'm fairly certain that Sigma has agreements with Phillips and Sony for their DVD-Rom Upgrade kits. These two big players along with the computer OEMs signed on could generate big growth. I'd say that we'll have to wait until the 4th quarter though.

While we wait for DVD to pick up, the NetStream products could also start generating some steam in the near-term, although I know less about these products than the DVD-Rom products.

Here are a couple of questions I have for onlookers:

1. What are all of the lies that management has made? I'm willing to listen. If true, you may save me some money.

2. Didn't SIGM get rid of their chip business this quarter but still maintained their revenue growth? That seems positive.

3. SIGM was able to get into the DVD-Rom upgrade market in a big way with Phillips and Sony. When the large OEMs start manufacturing their computers with the DVD-Rom Upgrade already in the base, will Sigma have to sign on with these OEMs directly or will the OEMs sign on Sony which will carry SIGM with it?

Thanks in advance,

Grant
