Marvin:

I agree with you 100%. CPQ is the only high tech company I am buying right now. I used some of my cash today and bought some at $25 3/8 and will be buying more if it dips further (highly improbable but perhaps not impossible). The rest of the high techs will be hit hard but I do not believe CPQ cann be hit to the same extend (how can it? They have already taken the stock and shot it in the head revolutionary style)!

Regards,

Addi Jamshidi

<<Could be the buy of a lifetime at 25. If it sells off a little
more I'll buy more.>>

RE: It could drop a little lower, but in 3 months you'll be kicking yourself if you didn't buy more. $1-$2 won't mean much then. LOAD UP THE TRUCK. I've gone through 2 stock splits with CPQ, and now have an average buy price of less than $5. The only reason I point this out, is because when I first bought it, and did nothing for 3 months but frustrate me like CRAZY, while the NAZ was hot. Then......then it just took off!! Eckhard knows what he's doing...and in due time CPQ/DIGITAL/TANDEM will look ingenious! Now we just have to keep our eyes on the long term, and we'll all be VERY happy!

I agree with both of you guys. I have a new broker, who looked at my 5000 Compaq shares and said, "Why so much CPQ?". Told him I started with 1000 in 1994 when similar things about the company were being said as are being said now. It sat in the low 30's, went up to 50, down to the 30's again, and then up up up and split into 2500 and then 5000 shares. The new broker suggested I lighten up my position and buy some SUNW. He's worried about DEC (he's at H and Q). I have faith that Pfeiffer knows more about what he's doing than a bunch of analysts and brokers do. I think I'll hold and wait. What do others think? JB Broker also suggested I sell my AAPL stock a few months ago. I resisted...
