Except for restaurants (ie location, location...),
we and all other mining companies need 1 major thing in addition to "having the goods" -- management, management management!

Give Fred A the reins and he will get the proper people etc.
Any one who doesn't understand that doesn't understand business.
Lou Gerstner at IBM can explain that to you if you don't get it.

We have a golden opportunity here, get on board and ride with people who can build and run the airlines.

Kurt-

Fred has had his turn IMO. I know that he was "only" the COO, but in my mind it was not successful. He had basically three goals to achieve(in his opinion) electronic trading, a deal with an unnamed investment bank, and cessation of hostilities with the Canadian regulatory agencies. Which of those was successful?
I think we need a more professional "non-antagonistic" approach. I don't think the market would react well at all to Fred as our leader.
It would make the ouster of Jimmy look more like a coup than a search for experience. It would be seen as "more of the same". That is my opinion.
