Here's my expectations.

Cisco has stated terrific growth from small corporations. Therefore this will equal strong sales for Nbase.

Sales force has doubled from 40 to 80. This alone should equate to a doubling of sales once salesforce is aclamated. Lets say 3rd quarter 98 and take this 12 months out. I would say Revs of 270MM in calendar 98 and 360MM from 9/98 - 9/99.

I don't think these numbers are far fetched. Xyplex group should see renewed growth after the restructuring is completed by the end of 6/98. They are selling product and services at a rate of $40MM/yr and that's without the Nbase products to sell.

Nbase has double the product selection since 7/97 and pricing is as low or lower than the competition. The 3/1/98 issue of Communications Week featured an old Nbase 10/100 auto-negotiating switch at very old and high prices(about 4X higher than current Nbase prices.

I think the stock will renew itself prior to March earnings and upon announcing this 1Q results buyers will see management is CREDIBLE. Earnings and sales will be up both sequentialy and linearly for the quarter. Inventories will be down as a percentage of assets. DSOs will remain about the same +/- 2 days.

Beyond the first quarter, which is the slowest historical quarter, Institutions will realize how valuable this company will be against the earnings expectations for 1999. As consistency goes 1998 earnings are for the most part a minimum of $1.25 only to be outdone by upside surprises. 1999 expectations by analysts of $1.75 could be as much as $.50 shy as this company starts to move strongly into the United States. Remember, management has said all along their sales plans were to be strong in Europe before meeting the competitive challenges of the United States. 1999 should be their year.

Do me the kindness of printing this off and taping it up to recheck the companies progress over the next 12 - 18 months. Traders need not respond.
