Also a source informed me from the JPM conference that he had recently heard that all the carrier customers were raving about Ascends ATM switches. We may see some major orders coming in. I have heard of a recent GTE contract win on the Remote Access side. GTE has been a big Cisco customer since the BBN buyout so......

Hi Pat,
I'm new to SI (trying this 1 month trial offer). Been lurking here for about 6 months.... ever since I bought my first ASND shares.

Just want to say I've thoroughly enjoyed the insight and knowledge you and the others (mainly Gary Korn, Dennis Duke, Jan, and Maverick) have provided and hope it continues.

Where do you feel ASND will be in the next six months, if you had to guess?

Thanks again for yours and the above SI member's inputs !!!
Eric

Afterwards I went up and asked a few more questions and closed by saying, "You'll be on target this quarter?" Answer: "Yes."

Pat,

Thanks!! That is exactly what I wanted to hear in the phone call I never got. IR's response had been far too waffling for me. This was specific.

Suddenly, April expiration is less fearsome. I will hold on to my long-term shares and open up some conservative April puts.

Long term (after 1Q earnings), with all the ATM contracts that have been announced, I think that ASND should trade considerably up from 35.
