Doug...You probably have some nice gains.

I didn't know about this but felt this could happen.
Not very profitable at moment.
I can't answer how this fits in the scene, at the moment.

You obviously know that they have a team of former
AST, DELL, 3COM employees heading this project.

NPNG should have some point of view on this.

Doug, I'm not aware of any cpq/IM arrangement but the idea is interesting. In a way, it would again equalize the playing field for cpq, IBM and HP re the BTO mode. If I've understood the premise of your post, I'm not sure whether it would be advantageous or detrimental to cpq as it would provide none of these competitors with a proprietary edge. Do you or anyone on the thread have further thoughts about the IM project? dulane
