I dunno Chrissy,

I think you can hang em by their ankles and whip the tar out of em and they'l grow up to be just fine. Quite a number of Americans grew up that way I believe, from pre Revolution days right up untill now, trouble is not enough right now....hmmm

Fact is I probably didn't do it enough with at least one of my brood.

And I think everyone should do that to the exclusion of anything else that may be desired.

So, we each muster up an army and see whose army is better and then it will be settled once and for all!

And may the best man, er...woman win, and to the victor goes the whip.

Or maybe we just let folks have the freedom to raise their families the way they want to.

<<I believe that good child evelopment--lots of love and affection and gentle guidance, good nutrition and no spanking--would go a long way towards improving the general health. I think it should be a required course in school, so that new parents know how to really help their children be happy and feel good about themselves.>>

Christine, I have to tell you that I have been lurking here for some time and have long admired your principles in child-rearing. I bet you're daughter will be the tops in whatever field she achieves to!

I sometimes do feel like talking, but not much. You know guys!!
