Do you recall Brinker ever advising regarding the calculation of the 4% limit for investing in an individual stock when one includes an imputed principal amount re: a persion entitlement on one's balance sheet when computing asset allocation ? When computing the 4% limit, has Brinker advised that the total portfolio value should include or exclude the imputed pension principal ?

Actually, he did say something about 10000 in 1998.

He specifically said the anyone who thinks the Dow
could flirt with 10000 must be "smoking something".

His analysis was based on projected earnings
and historical multiples.

Personally, nothing would surprise me these days.
Once in a while new history is made; and we may be
seeing it.
